Gem Summon
Gem Summon Banners are a gacha mechanic in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.
Overview
Gem Summons are a type of Banner where the player purchases Demon Summons in exchange for Gems. Demons available within the Gem Summons are between Rarity 3★ and 5★ and can be any Archetype besides Common. After summoning, the player will receive a corresponding number of Transcend Motes based on the amount of demons summoned and their Rarities: 3★ = 1 Mote, 4★ = 5 Motes, and 5★ = 35 Motes.
The player has the option between spending 100 Gems for 1 Summon, or 1000 Gems for 10.
Superior Summon
Alongside Motes, Gem Summons within the Superior Summon category also gifts the player 1 Parchment per Summon.

Time Limited Summon
Unlike the Gem Summon Banner in the Superior Summon category, Time Limited Gem Summons are only open for around 2 weeks at a time and are regularly rotated in and out of availability. Time Limited Gem Summons are often themed around concurrent Events and feature higher rates for specific related unit(s).
Alongside Motes, Gem Summons within the Time Limited category also gifts the player either 1 Parchment or 1 Tome per Summon. If the player receives a Tome, it will correlate to the Banner it was obtained from.
