Origin

Hecate is a chthonic goddess of magic, witchcraft and barriers in Greek mythology and religion. She is a trinity goddess represented as a maiden, a woman and a crone, primarily represented as a woman with a head representing each form or as a single entity across three connected bodies, with her symbol of power being a pair of torches that she holds in her hands. Despite being one of the Titans, she sided with the Olympian gods during the Titanomachy and was worshiped among them. She acts as the guardian of thresholds and travellers, giving her a strong connection to the underworld and ghosts.

Shin Megami Tensei II (A-Mode DDS)	出身地：ギリシア 冥界を支配する女神。名は「遠くから働く者」の意味を持つ。魔術の女神としては、頭が犬、獅子、馬の三面を持つ姿で描かれ、三叉路を好んだといわれる。ギリシア最古の大地母神の一人で天界ではセレネ、地上ではアルテミス、冥界ではペルセポネーの三位一体の女神であったともいわれる Translation:

Shin Megami Tensei II

Hecate can be found in the Yetzirah Corridor in the Makai, blocking passage through the intersection on the orders of Lucifer. As she gains power from the light of the moon, she can only be fought and defeated on a new moon.
