Devil Survivor is a series in the Megami Tensei franchise. It is a tactical role-playing game series, similar to the Majin Tensei series, where squads of characters are controlled on a grid-based map and fight against waves of enemies. Like its precursor, Devil Survivor incorporates common elements from the Megami Tensei franchise into its gameplay, such as recruiting Demons and fusing them. The games feature a continuous, non-linear plot where activities will advance time and certain actions taken will branch the story into different routes, opening to multiple different endings.
