Design

Flauros in the Dictionnaire Infernal

Flauros's Super Famicom Shin Megami Tensei design is an anthropomorphic cheetah as opposed to his traditional description of taking the form of a leopard. This anthropomorphic depiction loosely resembles the illustration of Flauros by Louis Le Breton in Jacques Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal; the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum and Lesser Key of Solomon mention Flauros as taking either the form of a leopard or that of a man, and not a mixture of both.
