Trivia
Demonee-Ho's Password in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey is a reference to the character Gunnery Sergeant Hartman from the movie Full Metal Jacket. The director Eiji Ishida wanted to create a character modeled after Hartman; however, staff was unable to implement them so Ishida was forced to compromise with this password.[1][2] His dream would later be realized in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, with the inclusion of the Extra MissionDemonee-ho Boot Camp. Both it's difficulty and it's depiction of Demonee-Ho as a harsh military commander training soldiers into machines was inspired by Hartman.[3]
