Volume 9 was released on July 25, 2012. The limited edition came in a case featuring Ryotaro and Nanako Dojima drawn by Shigenori Soejima containing the disc jacket, art cards, a booklet, and a bonus CD. One art card is of Yu and Izanagi, and the other is Dojima, Adachi, and Teddie in New Year's kimono. The regular edition only came with the anime DVD in a disc jacket.

Booklet
The booklet cover is Adachi and Magatsu Inaba themed with stripes of caution and keep out tape. The main section of the booklet has synopses for episodes 22-24 of the anime as well as background information and reference artwork for the characters Tohru Adachi, Taro Namatame, Misuzu Hiiragi, and Mayumi Yamano. It also contains art of Adachi's Persona, Magatsu-Izanagi, the enemy The Reaper, and the Magatsu Inaba location. In addition, the booklet contains three short messages from Akemi Kanda, the voice of Nanako Dojima, Unsho Ishizuka the voice of Ryotaro Dojima, and Shoji Meguro, Composer for the anime and game's soundtrack.
The bonus CD section of the booklet has lyrics for "We Are One and All", a track list, composer comments written by Shoji Meguro for all 10 songs, and credits for the CD.
Bonus CD
The bonus CD, titled Persona 4 The Animation Original Soundtrack Volume 3, was included in the disc jacket of the limited editions. The catalog number is ANZB-6858.
