Game Appearances
Persona 4
Before the start of Persona 4, Misuzu had recently exposed her husband's affair with Mayumi Yamano to the media[a] and in a news report in the game's opening, it is mentioned that she intends to seek compensation. Following the scandal and Mayumi's mysterious death, Misuzu is not considered a suspect due to her being overseas at the time. During the police investigation into Mayumi's death, Misuzu and Namatame both testified that Namatame had become estranged and he was not living with his wife. Their marital status by the end of the game is unknown. In May, Chie Satonaka hears that Misuzu's new release is selling well and thinks it would be off-putting if she was intentionally using the incident to promote it. Although Misuzu does not appear in person, posters of her can be seen around Inaba, there is a cardboard display of her in the Junes electronics department, and smaller defaced posters of her can be found in the Desolate Bedroom.
Trivia
- Her song, "Someone Else's Man", can be heard in the background of the summer festival. During Persona 4 Golden, an instrumental version plays as the background music for Shiroku Pub.
