Dojima Residence is a primary location in Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden. During his year long stay in Inaba, the protagonist lives there with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, and his cousin, Nanako Dojima.
Profile
The Dojima Residence is a free-standing, two-story, wooden house located on the western side of Inaba. It is assumed to have 3-4 rooms. The house was built anywhere between several years or decades ago, and Dojima bought it.[1]

In Persona 4, the Dojima residence is the protagonist's only place for evening activities.
In Golden, the protagonist can leave at night and explore Inaba, but many activities are still tied to the house.
Game Appearances
Persona 4
The protagonist begins living with Ryotaro Dojima and Nanako Dojima on April 11th. The family uses the low table in the downstairs living room as their dining table, and the protagonist converses with his family there and watches news broadcasts, which often relate to who appears on the Midnight Channel on rainy nights. When he comes home from school each day, Nanako greets and welcomes him home. In November, the protagonist has the house to himself after Dojima's accident and Nanako's kidnapping. Over the protagonist's year long stay in Inaba, the Dojima house is the setting for multiple story events, such as the omelette cookoff after clearing Void Quest, the watermelon party at the end of summer, and the Christmas celebration after the Investigation Team apprehends the murderer.
Persona 4 Golden
During Golden, the home also has a garden outside. When tending to the garden with Dojima and Nanako, Dojima mentions that his wife Chisato made the garden to help save money and she imagined that one day she would be tending to it with Nanako.
During winter, Nanako and Dojima return to the hospital in January, leaving the protagonist home alone again. Teddie begins living with him at the Dojima house temporarily and helps care for him when he falls ill. During Dojima's Social Link, he mentions that after Teddie stayed during winter, his clothes and underwear went missing.[2]
Persona 4 Arena
In Yu's story mode, he returns to Inaba during Golden Week following the ending of Persona 4 and stays at the Dojima residence again. He finds his room on the 2nd floor mostly unchanged. At night time, he is surprised when his TV flickers on and plays a trailer for a fighting tournament called the P-1 Grand Prix.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
In chapter 1 of Episode P4, Yu eats dinner with Dojima and Nanako in the living room of the Dojima Residence. At night time, his TV flickers on again and plays a trailer for the P-1 Climax.
Trivia
- The protagonist has a DVD that says Wild Hero 2 next to the TV in his bedroom. This is a sequel to the movie Wild Hero, which appeared as a poster on the monorail in Persona 3. The movie features the mascot of the restaurant Wild Duck Burger.[1]
- The appearance of the house was modeled after a real house in a designer's hometown.[1]
