Saki Konishi
Saki Konishi is a character in Persona 4. She is a 3rd year student at Yasogami High School who works part-time at Junes.
Profile
Saki is a 3rd year student at Yasogami High. Her parents run Konishi Liquors in the Central Shopping District. She has a part-time job working at the new Junes store. The locals blame Junes for the closure of multiple small family-owned businesses in Inaba, though Saki got a part-time job at Junes because she thought it would be useful experience for when one day running her parents liquor store.[3][4] She befriended Yosuke Hanamura, the son of the manager at Junes who also works part-time, and is said to treat him like a younger brother. She is shown both looking out for him and hoping he makes friends with the protagonist while also playfully ribbing him.
As it is revealed, Saki is the person who discovered the body of Mayumi Yamano while coming home from school. After being absent from school on the 14th, Saki turns up dead on April 15th. Her death is one of the major factors that leads to the formation of the Investigation Team.
Game Appearances
Persona 4
On April 11th, the protagonist can overhear Saki and her younger brother Naoki Konishi arguing with one another in the shopping district. Saki ate something out of the fridge that was Naoki's.
The protagonist meets Saki on April 13th when he goes to Junes with Yosuke and Chie. Saki seems stressed about something and wishes she hadn't left school early on the 12th, though she acts cheerful and jokes around with Yosuke when he talks to her. She notices the protagonist and goes to meet him. She hopes he will be good friends with Yosuke and assumes the two must have something in common to talk about since they are both from the city. At night time, the protagonist watches a news special and sees an interview with the girl who found Mayumi Yamano's dead body. The protagonist observes that she looks a lot like Saki, but part of her face is covered.
On April 15th, the principal of Yasogami High announces at a school assembly that Saki was found dead. Yosuke mentions he saw Saki on the Midnight Channel the night before, believes her death is linked to the TV World and insists on going back into the TV with the protagonist. There, Teddie takes them to the Twisted Shopping District, the remaining core of Saki's larger TV dungeon that has shrunk since she died.[5] Inside the TV World version of Konishi Liquors, Yosuke hears the voice of Saki's dad scolding her for working at Junes, then hears Saki herself complaining about how annoying Yosuke is, how the neighbors and others talk behind her back, and that she wishes it would all just disappear.
While Saki did find Yosuke annoying,[6] the voice heard was also not representative of Saki's true feelings, as the Shadows were exaggerating those words.[7]

On December 4th, Taro Namatame recalls seeing Saki on the Midnight Channel, recognizing her due to his delivery job, assuming that she would die next, and trying to warn her. But he later saw her that same night on the Midnight Channel, this time being attacked by something before she turned up dead the following day.
On December 7th, the true culprit behind the murders, Tohru Adachi, explains that he saw Saki with Namatame and then called her into the police station under the guise of questioning her about Mayumi's body. In a flashback shown to the player, he backed Saki up against a shelf with a TV, then tried to force himself on her while mentioning that he saw her that afternoon with Namatame. Saki slapped Adachi away when he got close. He asked if he wasn't good enough before pushing her into the TV behind her.
Magician Social Link
Saki frequently comes up as a topic in Yosuke's Magician Social Link. Yosuke overhears coworkers at Junes mention Saki had an older boyfriend who she ran off with during their 2nd year of school,[8] but it is unknown how much of that is true. On rank 10, Yosuke wishes he could tell Saki that where you are is not as important as who you are with.
Hanged Man Social Link
Saki comes up in Naoki's Hanged Man Social Link. During the rank up events, the protagonist helps Naoki work through his grief and how he feels like he is being alienated by people after Saki's death. On rank 7, Naoki mentions he likes cream puffs, but Saki would always eat the ones he brought home, and they were fighting over her eating one of his cream puffs back on April 11th. On rank 10, Naoki takes the protagonist to the Samegawa where he recalls a childhood memory where Saki jumped over the rocks to cross the river and left him behind. He didn't notice her come back around, and she came up behind him and scared him. Now he feels that a river is separating them again, but this time, she won't be coming back.

While training in the TV World, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko meet a girl named Amnesia who resembles Saki. While her presence provides Yosuke with some closure, Amnesia's identity is that of Saki's Shadow, and she is going to disappear soon due to Saki's death.

At the end of the novel, Amnesia uses her ability to erase memories on Yosuke and the others so they won't ever remember meeting her.
