Reason: Social Link |
On April 11th, when the protagonist takes a walk through the shopping district, he can come across Naoki and Saki. Saki talks about eating something from the fridge which Naoki then says was his. This is later revealed in Naoki's Social Link to have been a cream puff. She apologizes and excuses herself to go to her part-time job.
On June 7th, Kinshiro Morooka assigns the protagonist to go work with the student health association. Naoki shows up late to the meeting and apologizes. The members of the health association assure him it's okay if he doesn't attend their meetings and assume he must have his hands full helping out at home. Naoki feels awkward about getting special treatment, so the other members ask him to stay and clean the infirmary with the protagonist before heading home. When the two are alone, Naoki introduces himself, but says he hates Yosuke and the protagonist by extension. Naoki tries to get out of cleaning duty with the protagonist by insisting that he needs to go help out at home as the other association members assumed, but the protagonist makes him stay and help. After this initial meeting with Naoki, the protagonist talks to him at school where Naoki vents about how others pity him.
Persona 4 Golden
When the protagonist goes to greet people during New Years, Naoki is standing in the Central Shopping District outside of Konishi Liquors. He comments on how Inaba is quiet during New Year's, but it still feels warm due to the warmth in people's homes.
