Margaret is a character in Persona 4 and its spin-offs.
Profile
Margaret is a Velvet Room attendant who works under Igor and assists the protagonist during his quest to find the truth. She has a somewhat solemn personality, but occasionally makes deadpan remarks. Like the other attendants, Margaret wears all blue, and has platinum hair and yellow eyes.
Soejima designed Margaret with the allure of an older woman and a shorter skirt for moving around in combat. Her face is a little scary as Atlus wanted to make players feel threatened by the idea of having to fight her.[1]

As the murder mystery progresses towards its climax, the Velvet Room limo suddenly stops on December 3rd. Margaret mentions they will be temporarily parked for the time being. On the 5th, the limo resumes traveling. During the true ending, Margaret is present in the Velvet Room when the protagonist receives the Orb of Sight and she encourages him to keep pursuing the truth.
On New Game Plus, if the protagonist has completed Margaret's Social Link, defeats all of the optional bosses in the TV World, and got the true ending on a previous playthrough, then she will invite him to Heaven where she can be fought as an optional boss.
Persona 4 Golden
Margaret is involved with Marie's Aeon Social Link. She found Marie and, knowing her fate was linked to the protagonist, allowed her to take up residence in the Velvet Room.[2] Marie also mentions in her Social Link that Margaret had taken her in and given her the name Marie.

If the protagonist completes Marie's Social Link before clearing Magatsu Inaba, then when he visits Margaret on January 2nd to deliver his New Year's greetings, she will mention that Marie has gone missing, and remind the protagonist that Marie is linked to him, not the Velvet Room. The protagonist requests Margaret's help in finding Marie, no matter how dangerous it is. Periodically through January and February, Margaret will call the protagonist and let him know her progress. Finally, on February 12th, Margaret pulls Chie Satonaka and the entire Investigation Team through a TV at a skiing resort in Inaba and leads them to the Hollow Forest. She explains that Marie was originally from the other side and she came to the Hollow Forest of her own volition and will disappear from their memories soon.
