Profile
Origin
Khonsu is the Egyptian god of the moon and the son of Amun and Mut.
Design
In Shin Megami Tensei V, Khonsu received a new design by Masayuki Doi. He is depicted as a young man with green skin wearing a black and gold Shendyt with Ancient Egyptian style jewelry such as an Usekh collar, golden bands on his arms and legs, and earrings. His blue hair is tied to the side of his head in a fashion similar to the youth of Ancient Egypt and a Pharoh's beard from his chin. Atop his head is a Sun Disk and an Uraeus snake, and he holds an ornate khopesh in his right hand.
As Khonsu Ra, his skin turns red and he now wears the head of a falcon wearing a nemes with his khopesh replaced with a Was sceptre. The black and blue aspects of his clothing and jewelry have been replaced with various shades of gold and red.

Shin Megami Tensei V | Khonsu: The Egyptian god of the moon.
Often portrayed as a mummy with two long braids of hair, he is said to be a reincarnation of the moon itself and holds possession over what's known as the moon ship. He also acts as a companion to the Pharaoh's shadow. Hieroglyphics found in Unas's pyramid depict him as a god who prepares meals for an oppressive, god-devouring king. Khonsu Ra: The form of the Egyptian god of the Moon, Khonsu, upon gaining the power of the sun god, Ra. Hidden behind a foreboding mask, he possesses the dual powers of the sun and moon, the day and night, and the living and the dead. |
Devil Summoner(Akuma Zensho; PSP) | 出身地:エジプト ナイル川中流の都市テーベの月神。 Translation: Place of origin: Egypt Moon god of the city of Thebes at the middle course of the Nile River. Said to be the "King of Truth", creator and origin of fate, and the giver of oracles, Khonsu, as a result of his authority over evil spirits, was worshiped as a spell-destroyer. He is also depicted with a shaved head and crowned with a "Menat", which is a symbol of energy, a moon disk, and a crescent moon. It appears that Khonsu was a god who represented the placenta of the king, who was mummified and worshiped. |
