The Condemnation is a concept in Shin Megami Tensei V created by the God of Law that forbade the existance of the Nahobino.

The Condemnation was put into place when the God of Law took control of the Throne of Creation. In order to prevent His rule ending and other Nahobino from challenging Him, the God of Law declared that there be no other gods before him, stripping the other gods of their Knowledge that made them divine and reducing them to the forms of Demons.[1][2][3][4] While the Condemnation was in place, any that attempted to reclaim their Knowledge and return to their power as a Nahobino were instead transformed into Miman.[5][6][7]
After the death of the God of Law at the hands of Lucifer in the battle of Armageddon, the Condemnation was lifted, however it would take 18 years before anyone realised as the first to attempt transforming was the Nahobino.[8] With the reveal that he had successfully fused with Aogami, the other gods scrambled to find their own Knowledge so they too could reclaim their power.
