Shin Megami Tensei V

The Creator was originally one of the countless nahobino that vied for the Throne of Creation before they succeeded in usurping Baal's position as ruler and reconstituting his divine servants into the Seraphim, becoming the ruler of the universe[1][2]. In an attempt to bypass the Mandala System and ensure that no one could challenge His rule, the Creator issued the Edict of Condemnation, declaring that there be no other gods before Him and stripping the other nahobino of their Knowledge, reducing the gods to demons. Without their Knowledge, the demons were barred from entering Empyrean Heaven or challenging Him for the Throne.[3][4] However he could not destroy the Knowledge of the other gods, so he sealed it within a tree in the Garden of Paradise where none could claim it. His rule was unchallenged for a time until a serpent manipulated the humans that resided in the Garden into eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, which bound the Knowledge of the gods to the souls of humanity forever more and evolving humanity into entities closer to the gods.[5][6] Enraged by this, the Creator banished humanity from paradise.

The Creator ruled for untold eons until eighteen years prior to the start of the game Tokyo was struck by the Conception which failed to properly initiate and destroyed Tokyo and all its inhabitants.[7] To restore the city and those that perished within it, the God of Law created the Shekinah Glory, perfectly recreating everything that had been destroyed by the Conception.[8] Not long after, the forces of Law and Chaos clashing in the battle of Armageddon, during which Lucifer through unknown means managed to confront the Creator in battle and succeeded in killing Him and breaking the Condemnation, allowing for the nahobino to return to the world.[9] However Abdiel suppressed this information believing Lucifer to be lying and wanting to keep the forces of Bethel united.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

Additional information is given regarding the Creator in the Canon of Vengeance. He is revealed to be one of the Horned Gods, a divine lineage that began when Marduk first took the Throne of Creation from Tiamat. When Yoko Hiromine was selected by the Mandala System to become a Goddess of Creation, the Creator saw this as a threat to his rule and imprisoned her, trapping her in Shakan and using her power as a goddess to fuel the Shekinah Glory. After the death of the Creator, Yoko was left trapped within Shakan fully conscious but trapped in stasis, leading to her developing a deep seated loathing for the Creator and the world of Law perpetuated by the Horned Gods, which festered and deepened for 18 years until the Nahobino freed her from her prison.
