Shin Megami Tensei Trading Card: Card Summoner was designed to introduce the Shin Megami Tensei Trading Card Game to a wider audience. Supervisor Kōji Okada decided to let players learn naturally through gameplay rather than including a tutorial, while simplifying the rules of the original card game.
