Light, also known as Expel and Bless, is a recurring skill attribute in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Gameplay

Light skills inflict magic damage on a target. Light counterbalances the Darkness attribute, with Light skills often having an advantage against opponents with a Darkness affinity, while those with an Light affinity are also in turn weak to Darkness skills.

The Light attribute is represented by the Hama line of skills, which has appeared in almost every installment since Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II. Certain games in the Persona series also have the Kouha line of skills.
