Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator,[a] known commonly as Cleopatra, meaning "glory of the father" in Greek, was the Pharaoh of Egypt from the years from 51 BCE to 30 BCE, and she was effectively the last Pharaoh of Egypt.[b] A descendant of Ptolemy I Soter, Cleopatra was part of the Greek Ptolemaic dynasty that had ruled over Egypt since the time of Alexander the Great, and she is believed to have been the only Ptolemaic ruler to have learned the Egyptian language. With her death between August 10th and 12th of 30 BCE, Egypt fell under the rule of the Roman Empire, signaling the end of an independent Egyptian state.
Historical fact and myth have made details about her life and death somewhat obscure, with historians suggesting that her political enemies spread propaganda that lingered into modern mythology. While it is agreed that she committed suicide, the commonly stated method of having a venomous snake bite her is debated. Other sources suggest she injected herself with poison through the use of a needle.

More specifically, "Cleopatra VII." Her name means "glory of the father" in Greek. She is known as one of the greatest beauties ever to live, having charmed many with her musical voice and conversation skills. It is said that all of history would have unfolded differently had even her nose been longer or shorter.

Cleopatra is the boss of the The Rage of a Queen DLC subquest. Formerly the leader of the Egyptian branch of Bethel, she had been recently dismissed and driven from her position by her subordinates, making her hold a grudge against the organization as a whole. Worrying about any retaliation, the Nahobino is sent to locate her in order to determine if she is a threat, and if so, eliminate her. Finding her in Mita, Cleopatra is shocked and angered at Bethel's treatment of her despite all she had done in service of it. She vows revenge against Bethel, then attacks the Nahobino in a rage, though after she is defeated, she attempts to take her own life to avoid feeling any greater shame.
Should the Nahobino do nothing, she follows through on the act and leaves behind Magnetite Powder, which he can bring to a Bethel researcher to use to recreate her and make her join his party.
Should the Nahobino stop her, she will be angered and think that he intends to steal her freedom to the very end, but then realizes that he is actually protecting her, so she decides to abide by his will and join his party freely.
↑Her son Caesarion nominally co-ruled with her since 44 BCE, and he was deposed and killed by Octavian (the future Caesar Augustus) a few weeks after Cleopatra's death.
