Trivia

  • Yomenaido Bookstore is named after the owner, who's family name is Yomenai, meaning "can't read". The owner didn't realize how unfitting their family name was for a bookstore until after they opened.[1]
  • Konishi Liquor is named after a developer on the battle team named Konishi whose family runs a liquor store. It was intended to be a placeholder name, but ended up sticking.[2] This anecdote is referring to Toshiki Konishi who was on the battle team during Persona 3 and Persona 4 before joining the sound team.[3]
  • For the 15th anniversary of Persona 4, Atlus released a special sake with the Konishi Liquor branding.[4]
