Part-Time Jobs are a recurring activity in the Persona series.

Overview

Part-Time Jobs were first introduced in Persona 4. The protagonist can work at a part-time job which causes time to pass. Depending on the game and job, working offers benefits such as Social Stats, money, and Social Link points.

The protagonist can get a part-time job at Chagall Cafe and Be Blue V in Paulownia Mall or at Screen Shot movie theater at Port Island Station. All pay will scale with the number of shifts worked at each position.

Part-time jobs can be discovered on the bulletin board in the Central Shopping District. Night time jobs can be accessed by using the front door of the Dojima Residence and choosing which job to work at.

Persona 4 Golden

Golden has the same previously existing part-time jobs as Persona 4 and adds one new evening job. Having a job with evening hours also allows the protagonist to leave the house and explore Inaba. The Weather affects availability and bonuses.

When working as an envelope folder, translator, and crane folder, the protagonist may receive a prompt to make a decision that affects his pay. The first option always poses risk with a chance of getting less money, while the second option always avoids taking risk.

Pub Customers

At Shiroku Pub, in addition to getting Diligence, the protagonist will get Courage, Understanding, Expression, or Knowledge based on which customer has stopped by for the night. On Friday through Sunday, all four customers return and the protagonist can select one to speak to and get their respective Social Stat. On all nights of the week, this second stat gain doubles if the weather is bad.
