Social Link

This section is a stub. You can help Megami Tensei Wiki by expanding it.
Reason: The Social Link information was compiled from the Persona 4 The Golden: The Complete Guide. It is missing:
  • PS2 P4 availability schedule, rank up points, dialogue options & points, dungeon chat info
  • P4G evening hangout dialogue and winter rank up romance dialogue

In Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, Rise is represented by the Lovers. Her Social Link begins automatically on July 11th. After, the protagonist can speak to her in the daytime to rank up her Social Link. Maxing Rise's Social Link transfigures her Persona to Kanzeon, and she gives the protagonist one of her Signed Photos that allows fusion of Ishtar.

Generally speaking, Rise will be available for her Social Link on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the afternoon. She can be found on 1F of Yasogami High School on school days, and the south map of the Central Shopping District on days off school.

There are some rules and exceptions and other things to note regarding her availability:

  • Rise will not always be available in the daytime if someone is still inside the TV.
  • Sometimes, Rise will be available on holidays that fall on days she normally will not be available.
  • During December, Rise's available days for her afternoon Social Link are December 9, 11, 16, 18.[1]
  • During the evening, Rise can found in the south area of the Central Shopping District. As the availability chart notes, she is only available for evening hangouts on specific dates, though generally you can find her there on Monday and Thursday nights. Check the specific section for more about that.
  • After unlocking Scooters, Rise will appear at Moel Gas Station during the daytime for scooter rides on the following dates: September 4, 12, 19, 22, 29, October 20, 23 (see note below), November 14, 23, January 11, 16, 31.[1] On these days, she will only be available for scooter rides, not her regular daytime Social Link. Furthermore, she will not be available if someone is inside the TV.
    • On October 23rd, if Chie Satonaka's Social Link is lower than max rank, then Rise will not be available for a scooter ride. If Chie's Social Link is maxed out, then Rise will call instead, and you must reject Rise for her to appear on her scooter.
    • While these rides don't teach her new skills, it will increase how much damage All-Out Attacks do when Rise joins in.

For the full list of day-by-day Social Link availability, see the Calendar in Persona 4 Golden.

This resets every month. Afterwards, you will receive a random item. See the items list below to see what possible items you can obtain. For more about evening hangouts and point multipliers, see the Social Link mechanics page.
