"I Wish My Life Had Meaning Again" is quest #30 in Persona 4 and quest #11 in Persona 4 Golden.
Overview
"I Wish My Life Had Meaning Again" can be accepted after completing "I Wish I Had Friends". This quest is part of the Hermit Social Link with the Fox. When the protagonist visits the Fox at Tatsuhime Shrine, it brings him an ema from a man who wants to feel joy in his life again. The protagonist finds the man on the north map of the Central Shopping District outside of Marutake Hobby Shop. His grandfather opened the shop, but he had to close it down because kids don't build plastic models anymore; if they want a toy, they can go to Junes. Still, the man is nostalgic for when kids used to come to the store and show off the models they built. The protagonist offers to build one in order to fulfill his wish. The man gets excited at the idea and gives him an unfinished MF-06S Brahman to build. At the Dojima Residence, the protagonist manages to build the model on on his work table. Upon showing the completed model to the man, he is brought to tears. He gives the protagonist a Heavy-Armor Agni and talks about giving his thanks at the shrine. Upon returning to the fox and reporting back what happened, the fox's bond with the protagonist deepens, and the Hermit Social Link increases to rank 6.
