Main article: Follow-Up Attacks

Once party members are Social Link rank 3, they will unlock follow-up attacks if they are in the party. After party members start getting scooters, they can offer to do a follow-up called a cavalry attack when they are not in the party and an All-Out Attack fails to finish off the enemy Shadows. Yosuke's unlocks on July 25th, the rest of the party besides Naoto's unlocks on August 23rd, and Naoto's unlocks on October 24th. The cavalry attacks have the same effects as their regular follow-ups.

Skills

On specific dates, party members will be parked on their scooters outside of Moel Gas Station with the very first being Yosuke on August 26th. On this day, the protagonist can go on a ride with them to the beach during warm weather or a hot springs during cold weather. Talking about the past will allow them to re-learn an old skill, while looking towards the future will let them learn a new skill. There are up to five new skills that each party member can learn. Models

After building the initial six robot models from Marutake Hobby Shop, the owner will start giving the protagonist scooter models to build that are based on the party's scooters. These can be displayed on the protagonist's three-tier shelf in the Dojima Residence. Each scooter takes 2 time slots to build.

Game Appearances

Persona 4 Golden

Scooters come up on June 8th as part of Yosuke's "Operation Up Close and Personal". After, the protagonist talks to his uncle at night time and inquires about getting a scooter license. As the protagonist is 16 or older, Dojima cannot stop him from getting one. The day after, the protagonist gets his license and Dojima hands over his old scooter to use. On June 15th, Yosuke, the protagonist, and Kanji ride to Okina and are unsuccessful at picking up girls. By July 25th, Yosuke's scooter has finally been fixed and he asks the Investigation Team if they want to go somewhere during summer break. The girls decide to get their scooter licenses as well so they can go to the beach together, which they end up doing one month later on August 23rd.

Since Kanji is only 15 and Teddie only came to reality in June, the two of them use a bicycle and skates instead of scooters.
