Reason: Lacking appearance info |
The TV World is a location in the Persona series.
Gameplay
Studio
When the protagonist enters the TV World in Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, they will be in the studio-looking area that serves as the staging area for activities in the TV World. From the studio, the protagonist can speak to party members to move to the dungeon entrances, talk to the Fox for SP recovery (starting with the Steamy Bathhouse), enter the Velvet Room, save, or leave. Leaving causes time to pass from afternoon to evening. At the entrance level of each dungeon, the protagonist can speak to party members to add them to his party before entering the dungeon.
In Golden, while in the studio, the protagonist can also pet the fox when it is in a good mood after certain dates to get new costumes for party members. For the fox's moods, see the Calendar in Persona 4 Golden.

Persona 4
The TV World is first visited on April 14th from the large screen TV in the Junes electronics department. It becomes a reoccurring location as the Investigation Team see people on the Midnight Channel and then go into the TV World to rescue them.
Once inside the TV World, the Investigation Team can summon their Personas to fight against Shadows. Typically, Shadows only sense danger from Persona users and are only aggressive to them while leaving non-Persona users alone, hence why the victims who are dropped into the TV World can survive on their own for so long. However, as explained throughout the game first by Teddie and later Ameno-sagiri, the weather in the real world and the TV World is opposite: When the weather is foggy in the real world, then it becomes clear in the TV World. Furthermore, the Shadows hate the truth, and when the fog clears in the TV World, the Shadows go berserk, lash out and attack even non-Persona users, and this leads to the dead bodies that turn up in Inaba.
Over the course of the game, the Investigation Team rescues victims from Yukiko's Castle during April, the Steamy Bathhouse during May/June, Marukyu Striptease during June/July, Void Quest during August, the Secret Laboratory during September/October, and Heaven during November. If the protagonist can identify the true culprit in December, then the team will also access Magatsu Inaba and Magatsu Mandala, leading to the good ending. If the protagonist can also identify who gave him his powers, then the team will gain access to Yomotsu Hirasaka and the true ending. The team's Navigators must first get hints and information about the victims in order to find their presence in the TV World, leading to investigation sequences that require the protagonist to ask about the victims around town before the dungeons unlock. The team's progress is tracked through the Fool and Judgement Social Links.

Trivia
- The TV studio-looking area that serves as the staging area in the TV World was created by the thoughts of Midnight Channel viewers. The floor pattern of the bodies with the white outlines was created by a combination of the protagonists, who had the murder case on their minds when they first entered the TV World, as well as Midnight Channel viewers who wanted to see the murder case unfold.[2]
- The places inside the TV World correspond to real life, and if the protagonists were to enter from a slightly different location than the Junes electronics department, they would end up close to the TV World studio but not in the exact same spot.[3]
