Power Scaling=
Within the widespread of the Megami Tensei franchise, there are a lot of strong characters. Because of this extensive universe, and its largely disconnected stories, finding a definitive way to rank the characters is rather difficult. This is my attempt to define it:
1. Nanashi and Dagda
Nanashi with Dagda's power is the contender to be the strongest character in the Megami Tensei series. In the Massacre route of Apocalypse, Nanashi is capable of defeating YHVH by himself, though it is possible for any of the Double Party members to kill Him by themselves as proven by this video. This is not only a prominent feat on its own, but it also occurs after Nanashi kills all his former teammates, including Navarre who is already dead. Similarly, Nanashi is technically capable of defeating Stephen in the Messiahs in the Diamond Realm DLC by himself. Other feats include defeating Merkabah and Lucifer back to back as well as killing the members of the Divine Powers, most notably including Shesha, who is able to reincarnate, becoming stronger and more intelligent each time. Though minor, other feats include being able to speak to demons without the Demonlingual app, and is able to summon Demons without a Gauntlet like the other members of the Hunter Association.
2. Flynn
Like Nanashi, Flynn is similarly capable. He does fight YHVH alongside Nanashi and Satan in the Massacre ending of Apocalypse, and wields Masakado's Katana. Also like Nanashi, Flynn fights multiple forms of Merkabah and Lucifer with minimal rest between the encounters. Flynn also defeats Masakado during the For the Past... For the Future DLC. Where Flynn differs from Nanashi, is that Flynn is limited to the abilities of a normal human, such as needing a Gauntlet to summon and control demons, and needing the Demonlingual app to communicate with most of them.
3. Demi-fiend
The Demi-fiend is a notable combatant within the Megami Tensei series, often being used as the poster child for strong characters within the series. With the Masakados Magatama equipped, he is immune to all damage except Almighty, and like Nanashi he is able to control and communicate with demons without a COMP as a half-demon. In Nocturne, the Demi-fiend defeats important opponents, such as Kagutsuchi notable immediately after fighting Ahriman, Noah, and Baal Avatar. Again, after the defeat of Kagutsuchi in the True Demon Ending, he will fight Lucifer though he won't kill him, and instead joins his forces of Chaos and becomes a fully-fledged demon.

An aqua blue Nintendo 3DS.

The Nintendo 3DS is a portable handheld game console made by Nintendo that was released in Japan on February 26, 2011, and later released in Europe, North America, and Australia on March 25, March 27, and March 31 of the same year respectively. It is the successor to the Nintendo DS, and features full backward compatibility with the predecessor.

The 3DS is known for its ability to portray stereoscopic 3D images, as well as its StreetPass and SpotPass features, which multiple Megami Tensei games released for the system utilize. The system has received several enhanced editions, such as the Nintendo 2DS, which lacks the titular 3D gimmick, and the Nintendo 3DS XL, which has a larger screen and more powerful CPU.

There are several Megami Tensei games exclusive to the system, though a majority of them are ports or remasters of previously existing games.
