Mithras is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Mithras is the supreme deity in the Roman mystery religion Mithraism. Mithras's name comes from the Iranian god Mithra, but despite the connection between their names, Mithras and Mithra are distinct.

Three common scenes of Mithras can be found in reliefs and sculptures: the first is Mithras slaying a bull (a scene known as the tauroctony), the second is Mithras banqueting with Sol Invictus, and the third is Mithras being born from a rock wearing a Phrygian cap and holding a dagger.
