The Empyrean Ascent is a bonus dungeon added in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. It is an ethereal realm representative of both heaven and hell opened by the Three Wise Men following the defeat of Mem Aleph if the Womb of Grief has been completed.

Nomenclature

The Japanese name "To the Ten Heavens" references the ten heavens present in the Second Book of Enoch. The translation "Ten Heavens" is only present in the Japanese translation of the third part of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, Paradiso.
