The Womb of Grief is a bonus dungeon added in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. Completing it is necessary to obtain any of the new endings present in the remaster.

Gameplay

The Womb of Grief is an entirely optional dungeon, much like the Labyrinth of Amala in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax. It is divided into six Spheres amongst seven floors.

After failing to fight Alex for the first time, the protagonist is revived and meets Demeter in the dungeon. She entrusts him with the goal of gathering several Fruits, which are part of a new Cosmic Egg.
