On his head are three twisting horns, and he has a goat's body with a long tail. Lucifer ordered him to manage the world's fortune, and he has Bael, Agares, and Marbas at his command. He is also an officer of contracts, granting his conjurers' wishes in exchange for their souls.

Game Appearances
Lucifuge is found at the top of Keter Castle, where he greets Aleph. He explains that he is in charge of many of Lucifer's affairs, such as the creation of Macca. He runs off to tell Lucifer of his arrival shortly after, with his dialogue differing slightly depending on Aleph's level.
Visionaries
Lucifuge is featured in one Visionary cutscene in the Game Boy Advance and iOS versions of the game.
In "Colosseum Opening Memorial Macca", Lucifuge examines the state of the economy as the war front expands. He quickly becomes shocked at how many people were freed this time and determines that the Macca circulation is going to increase once again, taken aback at how much the Messiah's appearance has affected the Macca. Recovering slightly, he notes how newly freed people are going to stimulate the marketplace as they buy goods and their lives become more active, and wonders if he should increase circulation by 3%. When he checks it, he is shocked again to see it has already reached 10% and worries that there is going to be some serious inflation, hoping that all they need to do to fix it is just to readjust Macca production. He explains that if they increase circulation so quickly, it will only result in massive inflation, which will only lead to a market collapse, and then runs off to Lucifer to get him to slow the freedom force down before they need to start devaluing Macca.
Trivia
- Lucifuge has unused boss data in Shin Megami Tensei II. He can be encountered using debug mode (ID
0112
), is of the Godly race (possibly a placeholder, since Godly has an ID of 0), and has Chaos alignment. When fought, the battle music is the major boss theme.
Nomenclature
Lucifuge probably comes from the Latin word lucifugus, meaning "light-shunning".
