Persona 4

In Persona 4 and Golden, a Silenced character will be unable to use skills. Furthermore, the protagonist will be unable to swap Personas. The ailment is also referred to as Mute in skill names. It can last for up to 6 turns in Persona 4 and an unknown duration in Golden.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

When a character is Muted, they're unable to use their Persona related moves. Mute clears after hitting an opponent, or after a set amount of time.

Devil Survivor

Targets afflicted with Mute cannot use skills that cost MP. Death Call will instantly kill afflicted targets.
