Persona Magazine is a magazine about the Persona series. It includes features about the latest Persona games and anime, interviews with voice actors and key creators, as well as comics such as the Tartarus Theater. It came out monthly from November 2011 to August 2012. Future issues have been released irregularly, usually in tandem with major game releases. The latest issue is #Spring 2024, celebrating the release of Persona 3 Reload.

Structure

Each issue has featurettes about upcoming Persona projects and interviews with staff and voice actors. There were also more regular features that were in multiple issues, such as tribute illustrations from manga artists. The back of each volume has a collection of Persona related manga. New chapters of the Persona 3 manga and Persona 4 manga were both serialized in Persona Magazine, as were fan comics that were later collected into Anthology Manga.

Some of the regular columns included:

  • Tribute Illustrations
  • The Mythology and History of Figures Used in the Persona Series
  • Yu Narukami Monthly: A recap of Yu's activities and Personas acquired during Persona 4 The Animation
  • The Roots of Persona-izm: Mini features about the story and cast of Megami Ibunroku Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
  • Tamashii Nations x Persona Magazine: Previews of Persona figures being made by a Tamashii Nations label
  • Persona News Clip: Brief previews of merchandise, events, and tie-ins
    • In later volumes, this section was renamed the Persona News Agency
  • P-Mag Social Link: Submissions from fans such as fan art, favorite character polls, favorite Persona polls, and responses to online questionnaires
    • In later volumes, this section was renamed P-Mag Social Link Returns
  • Natsuki Mamiya's Persona Delusions Corner: A column where Natsuki Mamiya, author of Persona x Detective Naoto, wrote about things he liked in Persona
  • Hanamura Maniax: A fan column about Yosuke that accompanied Persona 4: The Magician
  • Sukisuki Persona: A column presented as a comic, drawn and written by Fuh Araki

Multiple issues had an ad for an app called Kuma no Megane which would give the user access to bonus content, and articles with glasses icons were meant to be scanned and viewed in the app. It's unknown what this content was.
