Take-Mikazuchi is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
After Izanami died in childbirth while giving birth to Hinokagutsuchi, Izanagi retaliated by killing his child with a 10 bundle length sword called Ame no Ohabari, and Take-Mikazuchi was born when Hinokagutsuchi's blood spattered against a group of now-sacred rocks. To some, he is considered to be the son of the sword itself, and is thus associated with swords. He is also associated with thunder due to the character for thunder being used in his name.[1]

Take-Mikazuchi is the client for the Challenge Quest "u have a guest!!!". Once Nanashi arrives at the Fairy Forest with Yamata-no-Orochi in hand, he greets the boy then explains that he is here on behalf of his father, who wishes to help Nanashi. Ame-no-habakiri shines in response, with Take-Mikazuchi revealing that the sword is the latest form his father has taken. He further elaborates that his father is impressed with Nanashi's courage and wishes to bestow the boy with a new sword. He then asks Nanashi for help with killing Yamata-no-Orochi. Once slain, Ame-no-habakiri shatters whilst a brand new sword forms from the remains of the snake's lacerated tail. Take-Mikazuchi gifts the new sword, Ame-no-murakumo, to Nanashi then leaves with the broken hilt of Ame-no-habakiri.
Upon completion of this challenge quest, Take-Mikazuchi is unlocked for fusion.
