Reason: General gameplay info needed |
Players defeat enemies to obtain experience, money and fame, as well ascend floors of Qliphoth. If a player loses a battle they lose fatigue and fame.
Initial Personas
At the start of the game players choose one of four available Personas:
Persona | Expertise |
---|---|
Inugami | Excellent strength and good at physical attacks |
Angel | Good at magic and good at magic attacks |
Pixie | Good luck, good at producing items |
Obariyon | Highly durable and resistant to impacts |
Parameters
Each value starts at 3, and can increase to a maximum of 99. Leveling up a persona allows the player choose a parameter to increase.
Parameter | Effect |
---|---|
Fame | Sometimes a condition for a special event to occur. |
Strength | Affects damage from physical attacks and physical skills. |
Magic | Maximum SP ((Magic x 4) + (Lv x 1)), affects power of magic skills and reduction of magic damage received from enemies |
Resistance | Maximum HP ((Resistance x 4) + (Lv x 2)), affects reduction of physical and magical damage received from enemies |
Luck | Affects critical hit rate, probability of finding a map, success probability of synthesizing items, success probability of gathering materials, and success probability of escaping from battle |
Fatigue
The player starts each day with a fatigue level of 0%, and each action increases the fatigue percentage by a certain amount. Once the player reaches 100%, they are unable to perform most actions and must wait until 6 a.m. the following day for the percentage to be reset. If an action will cause the percentage to exceed 100% it cannot be selected.

Persona Change
Changing or mutating Personas requires the player to reach a certain player level, ability value, or current persona rank. Mutations can range from -1 to +1 from the rank of the current Persona. For example, a Rank 1 Inugami cannot change into a Rank 3 Archangel.

Proxy Sales
Margaret is in charge of the proxy sales service, where players can list their items for sale to other players at any price they choose. Listed items must be purchased by someone on the same day; if no one buys the item the listing is treated as a failure, and Margaret returns the item the next day. Listing an item requires a small listing fee, and the fees are not refunded even if the item is returned.
Community Battles
By speaking to Margaret, players can select one of four communities to join and could engage in daily battles; players can switch communities at any time. Community Battles occur daily, and the winning community for that day earns prizes; players who consistently side with the winning team gain significant rewards. The system is balanced so that it was difficult for any single community to win consecutive victories.
Community | Community Goal | Bonus |
---|---|---|
Magician | Values items infused with power, cherishes skill and inspiration | Synthesis success rate up |
Wheel of Fortune | Seeks the fruits of abundance, values fate and harvest | Increased chance of getting a map |
Chariot | Respects mighty strength, values battle | Critical rate up |
Fool | Places no importance on any particular values, loves solitude, silence, and the flow of time | Increased energy (starts with -5% fatigue) |
