Origin

Dullahan is a mystic horserider and herald of death in Irish folklore who is either depicted as headless or carrying their own head on a black horse. Dullahan is said to ride through villages at night, and all who look at him are blinded, either because he whipped their eyes out with a human spine, or splashed a basin of blood on their faces. It is believed that the legend of Dullahan evolved from stories of the Celtic fertility god, Crom Dubh.

Shin Megami Tensei II (A-Mode DDS)	出身地：アイルランド 自分の首を脇に抱えた騎士の姿をした妖精。コシュタ・バワーといわれる首無しの馬に引かせた馬車で現れ、この馬車が止まった家からは近々死者が出るといわれている。 Translation:
Shin Megami Tensei IV	A ghost-like faerie of Irish folklore. Its sighting is an omen of death. It rides a coach called the Coiste Bodhar, pulled by headless horses, and stops in front of those destined to die soon. The Dullahan is headless itself, usually carrying its head under one arm. Though it is often portrayed as a headless knight, it is female in the original legend.
