Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children Card Game: Goumaden is the first expansion of the Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children Card Game, published in 2001 by Media Factory and distributed by Cross Entertainment Distribution.

Overview

Released in February 2001, the Goumaden set was made up of 163 unique cards. The release also featured 42 additional cards that could only be obtained through Bandai's Carddass vending machines, bringing the total number of cards for the expansion to 205. Cards in the Carddass release were eventually released in retail stores as part of the Maden Fukkatsu expansion.

Starter Packs

Two starter packs were released, named Red Legend[a] and Black Legend.[b] Each pack contains a fixed 40 card starter deck, a die, an instruction manual, a play mat, damage markers, and a scoreboard. Each deck retailed for ¥1000, and both released simultaneously in February of 2001.[1]

Expansion Pack

The Expansion Pack[c] was a single booster pack containing 6 cards. Packs retailed for ¥150. Any of the 163 cards can be pulled from a pack.[1]

Carddass Booster Pack

The Carddass booster was a single booster pack containing 4 cards, retailing for ¥100. Any of the 42 Carddass cards can be pulled from a pack.[1]
