Synopsis

On December 24, 199X, newborns Masaki Kuzuha and Takaharu Ougi are visited by Harmil the Imp and Paku the Cupid, who gift them Devil Child and Angel Child powers for mysterious reasons.

Ten years later, Masaki encounters a Demon named Clay the Chimera on his way to school, and is told of his latent Devil Child abilities. He befriends Clay and they attend class together, after which Takaharu asks Masaki to walk his sister Shou back home. Masaki finds Shou near Harajuku's subway construction site, when suddenly, a Demon from Makai emerges and curses Shou with the Dark Slumber. Everyone believes Masaki to be at fault, which compels him to venture into Makai alongside Takaharu, find a way to save Shou, and clear his name.
