Disaster Shadows are a mechanic in Persona 5 Royal.

Overview

During random encounters, specific shadows have a chance to be a disaster shadow. They will explode when defeated, dealing damage to all other shadows. They are guaranteed to drop one of three items: the two common negotiation items for the shadow and a third unique item.
