Design

Bugs appears as a demonic brown teddy bear. It has yellow eyes, and its mouth has sharp fangs. Bloodstains can be seen around its mouth and upper torso. The seam on its torso is torn, exposing its insides, which is filled with skulls.

In the Chinese version of Persona 5: The Phantom X, Bugs's design was made less frightening. It no longer has bloodstains on its mouth and torso, and the tear in its torso no longer exists, so the skulls cannot be seen.
