The Sun is an Arcana in the Persona series. It is the ninteenth numbered card in the Major Arcana, numbered XIX19, following the Moon and preceding the Judgement.

In tarot, the Sun is the nineteenth of the 21 trump cards, which are called "Major Arcana" in esoteric usage. The imagery originates from Italian tarocchi decks. The Sun card typically features a scene where the sun, depicted with a human face, shines upon two people, usually children playing, with a brick wall in the background. Other versions of the Sun card, such as in the Tarot Flamand, depict the sun shining on a horseman carrying a battle standard.
The Rider-Waite-Smith deck combines the aforesaid two variations and depicts the sun shining on a nude child riding a horse and carrying a large red banner, with sunflowers in the background beyond a brick wall.
Arthur Edward Waite lists the following divinatory meanings in The Pictorial Key to the Tarot: "Material happiness, fortunate marriage, contentment. Reversed: The same in a lesser sense."[1]
