Dyaus is Cielo's Atma Avatar, which he transforms into at the beginning of battles unless the party is ambushed. He resists Electricity and is weak to ailments (but not ailments under other attributes, such as Curse), unlike his human form which nullifies Expel and receives additional damage from all other attributes. Furthermore, Dyaus cannot use Cielo's submachine gun, but is capable of using all of his set skills.
Dyaus's stats have a high focus on Agility and Magic to the detriment of his Strength. His skills are determined by the Mantra he has mastered, where any of the skills he has learned can be freely added to or removed from his skill set outside of battle.
The oldest of Aryan gods, known as the god of heaven and the father of many gods. Dyaus is also known as Tyr in Norse mythology and is associated with the sun. Cielo's incarnation of Dyaus has the power of flight and is aligned with electricity.
Dyaus is Cielo's Atma and the only one of the Embryon's Asuras capable of ranged combat via the ability to shoot a beam from his mouth and flight. He uses these abilities to quickly reach Coordinate 136 from Muladhara and rescue Sera from Mick the Slug and Bat, forcing the latter to retreat due to the sustained damage and giving space for the remaining Embryon to kill the former. Later, Dyaus flies Serph, Argilla and Gale out of the Deserted Ship as it explodes, which he later remarks as physically straining.

Trivia
While the manual claims Dyaus is known as Tyr in Norse mythology, this is an oversimplification. More accurately, the names of Dyaus and Týr stem from a common Indo-European root, *Dyēus, though Týr specifically comes from a derived word *deywós (cognate with Sanskrit deva) rather than from *Dyēus directly.
