Curse is a recurring Status Ailment in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Gameplay
Shin Megami Tensei series
Shin Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei II
Cursed units will take damage every time you take a step (1 damage every 2 steps) and cannot use magic out of combat. Seems to have no effect in combat. Can only be cured by Healers.
Cursed Weapons inflict Curse on the user when equipped. The only way to remove Cursed Weapons is to heal the Curse status.
