Gemori is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
Origin
Gemory, also known as Gomory or Gremory, is the 56th spirit said to have been summoned by Solomon in the Ars Goetia section of Lesser Key of Solomon. He[a] is a duke of hell in the form of a beautiful woman wearing a duchess's coronet and riding a camel. He can tell of the past, present, and future, can tell the locations of hidden treasure, and can procure the love of women.[1] In the earlier Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer, Gomory is instead numbered as the 50th spirit.[2]
Design

Gremory's design from Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II is a palette swap of Volvo with blue hair and the red and white sections of the dress switched around.
Gemori's design from Shin Megami Tensei II is based on the illustration of Gomory by Louis Le Breton in Jacques Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal. This design resembles a noblewoman wearing a horned hat riding upon a camel.
According to Kazuma Kaneko Works II, she can change her form to match the preferences of the observer, and so illustrations of her as a beautiful woman reflect the artist's ideal image. The horns are said to be an indication she was once a moon goddess, and her clothing is said to resemble those of a priestess in the Makai.[3]

Game Appearances
Shin Megami Tensei II
Gemori is waiting for Aleph in Tiferet, under the orders of Lucifer. She forcibly brings Aleph to Keter Castle in order to hear what he has to say. Afterwards, she returns him to Tiferet, glad that he is not Satan, and wishes him luck.
If Aleph is on the Law or Neutral routes, she will be at Seth's temple and accuses Aleph of letting him escape after he awakens and flies away.
Trivia
- Gemori was originally planned to appear as a partner demon in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.[4]
