Another name for the Hecate from the Greek lore.
Being the goddess of the moon, it is also said that the land itself is her womb.
She can be violent and bloodthirsty, but at the same time she can be very loving.
Volvo has also known to be worshipped by the witches.

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
(3DS)

The top goddess of magic and sorcery, thought to be originally an earth goddess of Greek descent, worshiped by witches. She has a violent, blood-thirsty side, but also is filled with with broad-minded love. She is believed to have three aspects as the goddess of fertility, goddess of the new moon, and goddess of necromancy. At night, she is said to wander the land with packs of watchdogs and ghosts she controls with the power of the Netherworld.

魔女達に最高神として信仰された魔術と妖術を司る地母神。ギリシア神話に由来する。

あらゆる魔術と妖術を統べる最高神として、魔女から信仰を集めていた女神で、太古から伝えられる地母神であるとも言われている。血を求める凶暴な性格を持つ反面、包容力に満ちた愛をもあわせ持つとされる。「ヘカーテ」の別名を持ち、彼女は豊饒の女神、新月の女神、夜と亡霊と霊魂の女王の三つの顔があるとされる。夜になると冥界の力を使い、地獄の番犬や死霊の群を率いて地上をさまようとも言われた。

Kaneko Kazuma Dennō Akuma Zukan 魔女の崇める女神。魔術や予言を司る。ローマ神話における3位1体の女神へカーテと同一視されることが多く、ボルボ＝ヘカーテとも呼ばれる。地を求める狂暴な性格と同時にあらゆるものを包み込む愛をあわせ持つ。
