Brahman is a Demon in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2.
Profile
Origin
- See also: Brahma § Origin
Brahman represents both the ultimate reality in Hinduism, Brahman,[a] and the creator deity Brahmā[b] (the latter evident in Brahman being portrayed with four faces and having the race 梵天 Bonten in Japanese).
In Advaita Vedānta thought, it is believed that the impersonal self, the Ātman, is identical with Brahman, and the force which causes things to appear separate is illusion (māyā).
Design
Brahman is a giant flying train, with multiple faces on their body. These faces each have mouths, and triangular gaps which appear to be "eyes". An altar with a prayer wheel resembling an Amala Drum sticks out of the top of each face.
Gameplay
Brahman is the final boss of Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2. Brahman is divided into five aspects, each corresponding to a combination of attributes: Fire and Expel; Force and Nerve; Earth and Death; Electricity and Nerve; and Ice and Mute.
Each aspect is fought in sequence.

Brahman is the god of the Digital Devil Saga universe, residing in the deepest layer of the Sun.
Five years prior to the events of Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner, the researchers of the God Project, through Sera's ability as Cyber Shaman, managed to communicate with Brahman to some extent. Brahman communicates abstractly by transmitting his will to the other party, and can receive direct information from their emotions. When Sera inadvertently witnessed Heat O'Brien's death, the negative emotions she felt were transmitted to Brahman, angering him. As retribution, he corrupted the data emitted by the Sun so that any life exposed to sunlight would be turned to stone, which would later be called Cuvier Syndrome. Within the corrupted data was another type of information which corrupted several individuals, turning them into demons. Jenna Angel would study and amplify this data over five years, creating the Atma virus.
Later, during the events in the EGG Installation, Serph is seemingly killed by Heat, causing another negative emotional outburst from Sera. Following this, Brahman begins downloading Earth's data through to destroy it entirely. After failing to stop the process on Earth and lacking any other option to communicate with Brahman, Sera uploads herself and Serph to the Sun, who fuse into Seraph on the way and are joined by the data of their fallen comrades. They reach Brahman, who demands a battle, granting Seraph enlightenment afterwards and restoring the Sun and the Earth.
