Brahma, also known as Brahman, is a Demon in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Origin

Brahma is the creator deity in Hinduism and a member of the Trimurti along with Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. The name "Brahman" is an error; Brahman is a fundamental concept in Hinduism and refers to the ultimate reality which exists in and transcends all things. The Trimurti embody different aspects of Brahman.

Design

In his first design, illustrated by Kazuma Kaneko, Brahman/Brahma is a man with blue skin, four arms, and several faces sitting cross-legged in a yellow lotus. He wears a pointed gold crown adorned with red jewels and hanging cloth, white robes, and white sleeves. His hind arms carry machetes.

In the Devil Children series, Brahman/Brahma is a haloed azure flame surrounded by blue arm-like tendrils with geometric features.
