EGG Installation is a location in Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2.
Gameplay
The EGG Installation is visited twice as the fourth and sixth dungeons and has a third state after completing the second visit.
In the first visit, the levels of the Installation are separated by passcodes, which the party must find by locating keycards. The boss of this visit is Abaddon.
In the second visit, the Installation becomes corrupted and loses power, becoming dark. In the dark, the player's party will always be ambushed by random encounters. Additonally, portals appear that teleport the party to a predetermined location, and certain corridors damage the party after a certain number of steps. The boss of this visit is Vritra.
On future visits, the portals disappear, allowing for easier traversal. Gale may also interrogate a scientist near the entrance, who reveals that the Archangels were released, which causes them to appear at set locations. One of them, Uriel, appears in the Installation where Abaddon was fought.
