Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey

The password system allows the player to share and summon demons, including those that can't be obtained normally, such as Mem Aleph in both her Mother and Empty forms, and the Demonica-C, Demonica-N, and Demonica-L, as well as characters such as Jimenez in his human, Awake and Soil form, Zelenin in her human, Judge, and Pillar forms, Gore, McClane, Jack, Ryan, and generic Soldiers and Sergeants.

Demons obtained through the password system do not count towards the completion of the Compendium, and must be obtained legitimately.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux

In Redux, the password system can be used to transfer demons players had in the original game to the new version. Additionally, it is no longer possible to use the system to obtain the enemy-only demons.
