Trivia

There is another skill called Snipe, which is in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

  • However, it is a completely different skill from Gun Boost, which can be confusing due to Gun Boost being called "Snipe" in Persona 5, and Gun Boost being present in Strange Journey as well.

Despite Persona 5 Strikers's Japanese version using Gun Boost's vanilla Persona 5 name (精密射撃, "Precision Shooting"), the English version of the game uses the Persona 5 Royal name (銃撃ブースタ, "Gunfire Booster")

  • This seems similar to several mechanics in Strikers, such as Technicals, being based on the original version of Persona 5 rather than Royal
    • This may be due to Strikers being developed alongside Royal, as they released very close to each other, and while some aspects had to be based on the original version of Persona 5, such as when basic mechanics and skills were being added, while others were able to make use of a development version of Royal later in development, such as when localization would likely be worked on.
