Yukiko Amagi is a character in Persona 4. Yukiko is a second year at Yasogami High School, member of the Investigation Team, and the successor to the Amagi Inn.
Yukiko Amagi is a second year student at Yasogami High School, and a classmate of the Protagonist. Yukiko also works at the Amagi Inn, a popular tourist attraction for the city of Inaba, as Yukiko is the manager's daughter. Because of this, she is next in line for the position of manager, and much of her time is spent training to take up the role. When talking to those she does not know well, Yukiko is polite and quiet, though she can unintentionally come off as cold or distant. Her personality changes completely when with close friends, however, often louder and more open than she otherwise would be.
Despite her private nature, Yukiko is well known at school, though this is seemingly attributed to her status as heir to the one of Inaba's most successful attractions, and her reputation of cold, unapologetic responses to the many[4] dating proposals she receives.[5]Shigenori Soejima, Persona 4's character designer, designed Yukiko in a way that would resemble a "stereotypical Japanese beauty,"[6] putting additional focus into her eyes and eyebrows.[7] Yukiko's bangs were also designed intricately, with Soejima leaving them uneven and parted to prevent her from being "too creepy."[8]
Yukiko commonly wears clothing of a red or black color scheme, including at school, where she wears the standard female Yasogami High School uniform with a red cardigan covering the uniform's top. Consistent across almost all outfits is a red hairband.
Gameplay
Persona 4
Yukiko is a party member in Persona 4, joining the Investigation Team as the fourth playable character on April 30, 2011. In combat, Yukiko utilizes a hand fan as a weapon, throwing them in her basic attack and using one as a melee weapon in her critical attack. Yukiko's Persona is Konohana Sakuya, which learns Support and Fire skills. Upon completion of the Priestess Social Link, Konohana Sakuya will evolve into Amaterasu.

With the updates to Golden, Yukiko's Persona now has a 2nd awakening during winter, Sumeo-OkamiSumeoomikami in Japanese, which gives her the unique fire magic Burning Petals. Additionally, she can be taken on scooter rides to the hot springs to relearn old skills or gain skills that she didn't learn in Persona 4 such as Mind Charge. If Yukiko and Chie are both in the party, and an all-out attack fails to kill enemies, the two of them have a chance of doing a single target combo attack. If Yukiko is not in the party and you've unlocked her follow-up, there's a chance to trigger her scooter follow-up to a single enemy.
