Rage is a recurring status Ailment in the Megami Tensei franchise.

Profile

Rage is an ailment that increases a characters attack, but causes them to only physically attack on their turn.

Gameplay

Persona 3

In Persona 3, a target inflicted with Rage can no longer be controlled and will attack with increased damage but less defense. Additionally, Raging Tiger increases damage dealt when Enraged.

Persona 4

In Persona 4 and Golden, a target with Rage has their attack power doubled, defense halved, and they can only physically attack on their turn.

In Persona 4, they will also have their accuracy halved and the status lasts for up to 3 turns.
