The Velvet Outfit is a recurring cosmetic outfit in the Persona series.

Profile

The Velvet Outfit, also known by the names Deep Blue Clothes and Ultramarine Outfit, were first available in Persona 4 Golden. Each member of the playable teams are given their own Velvet Outfit resembling an inhabitant of the Velvet Room, including Igor.

In the Dancing games, it is clarified that the outfits worn by Elizabeth, Margaret, Theodore, The Twins, and Lavenza are the "genuine" versions of the uniform, while those worn by the Persona users are replicas.

Trivia

Unused costume for Nanako

• A graphic and description for an unused Deep Blue Clothes costume for Nanako Dojima can be found in the files for the localized releases of Persona 4: Dancing All Night on both PlayStation Vita and PS4. The graphic cannot be found in the original Japanese releases.
  • The unused graphic resembles the Deep Blue Guard Uniform worn by Ken Amada in Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, and its description states: "Uniform of those who dwell between mind and matter. And an eyepatch?"
  • Two unused costume names for Nanako, Deep Blue Clothes A and Deep Blue Clothes B, are present as well, implying she was at some point planned to have two Deep Blue costumes, similar to Ken.
